A Word from the Executive Director

If you are looking for "A New Day", to have a fresh start in your life, then you have come to the right counseling agency whose number-one goal is to work closely with you so that you can maintain "A New Day" no matter the challenges faced. I humbly appreciate that you have decided to give me the opportunity to assist you with the challenges that you are facing.

I hold a Master Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I am also a New Jersey License Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).

I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). I have shown personal interest in making a real difference in the life of a child by applying for the foster/adopt program to provide a loving home to a child. I was a big sister to a 13-year-old young girl, providing her with the love and support that she needed to assist her with having a positive view of life.

I volunteer my time as a member of the Union County New Jersey Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (DRCC), where I have responded to various crisis situations and have shown great skill in calming and guiding people through stressful situations. I was honored for the Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society. I currently serve as a board member for the National Family Preservation Network (NFPN).

I have been working in the social service field for more than 15+ years. I have worked in residential facilities, outpatient counseling centers assisting clients with substance abuse, along with mental health and family preservation services. My focus is to work with people who are in need of assistance that A New Day- FBHS, LLC™ provides.
